Du kannst z.B. auf http://desktop.ebay.com gehen und Dir dort den eBay Desktop-Client herunterladen. Im Rahmen der Installation bekommst Du auch Air auf den Rechner.

Ja, aber gibt es da auch schon Pläne in DE und seitens Adobe?

Ich denke mal, dass Adobe das Produkt früher oder später als internationalen Standard etablieren wird. Hier noch eine kurze Übersicht über interessante Air-Applikationen:
